In the 1990s, in a fishing village in Shenzhen, three debt-ridden friends—Zhou Qiang, Su Xiaotang, and Ah Hai—take a risky bet to pay off their debts: using their savings to start a bikini business, which accidentally blows up with shapewear. Just as the factory flourishes, a Japanese-funded brand uses malicious price-cutting to snatch the market, and the trio splits over conflicting decisions. Years later, when the Japanese company returns to acquire the old factory, the estranged friends are forced to reunite. Will they put aside grievances to fight the common enemy, or go their separate ways? When the old factory sign lights up again, what they defend is not just their hard-earned business, but also the brotherhood etched in time and the unspoken love.
