Five years ago, Xiao Wenyu accompanied his girlfriend Qin Tian'ai to climb Thousand Hills at night, and an accident in the fog made her disappear without a trace. Since then, he has become a "night watcher" at the foot of the mountain, persistently searching for clues every night. Until one day, he meets a girl who looks exactly like her—she calls herself "Qin Xiaoman," denies knowing him, and even warns him, "You'll die if you keep looking." But when Qin Tian'ai's exclusive bracelet falls out of the girl's bag, and when the same cry for help from that year echoes in the late-night fog again, Xiao Wenyu realizes: what he's searching for isn't a "missing person," but a "truth" someone is desperate to hide, and the part of himself he never let go of.
