Lin Yoyo guards "Li Yun Ju", a traditional etiquette studio left by her grandmother, but it's on the verge of closure due to skyrocketing rent. Hai Yifan arrives as a business consultant, but he's actually been sent by his parent company to acquire the studio. From clashing over "transforming tradition" vs. "preserving warmth", they discover their shared understanding of "rites"—Yoyo protects her grandmother's memories, while Yifan wants to make tradition visible to more people. As the acquisition deadline approaches, Yifan must choose between his professional mission and his feelings for Yoyo. Meanwhile, the old diary of Yoyo's grandmother, hidden in the studio's attic, reveals a 30-year-old "ritual promise" that tightly weaves their fates together.
