Zhou Hengyu, a corporate president, is determined to find the missing ancient painting "Zhi Mei Ren" to fulfill his grandmother's last wish, only to clash with Li Zhiying, a restorer who abides by her family's precepts and vows to protect the painting. He presses forward with business tactics, while she defuses his moves with professional skill. Amid their confrontation, they uncover the painting's secret—it was the token of love between Zhou's grandmother and Li's grandfather, who separated due to a misunderstanding and hid their regret in the painting. As the half-century-old truth comes to light, Zhou transforms from a "plunderer" to a "protector," and Li lets down her guard against his sincerity. Together, they restore the painting, heal the generational heartbreak, and find their own love in the process.
