Investment elite Gu Jingshen, forced into marriage by his family, accidentally signs a contract marriage with Su Xiaotang—a designer substituting for her sister on a blind date. She helps him fend off matchmakers; he helps her pay her sister’s debts. They set a “no-interference” rule, but when facing the Gu family elders’刁难 (nitpicking) and Su’s workplace sabotage, they keep crossing lines: he brings her hot porridge during late nights, she saves his project when his uncle tries to ruin it.
