To avenge her family's blood feud, scheming maid Zhu Xiaoxue crafts a sophisticated revenge plot and approaches Wang Nan—a man who fancies himself a 'justice hunter'—recruiting him as a 'fake ally.' She uses every trick to seduce him, hoping to use his hand to take down her enemy; he hides his motives to 'break her resolve,' vowing to uncover the truth of her revenge. Each with their own agendas, they play games of pretense, yet in every confrontation, they're struck by each other's sharpness and vulnerability, gradually falling into the abyss of lust. When the cold calculation of revenge collides with an uncontrollable true heart, will they become prisoners of desire, or break free from hatred's chains?
