After a divorce, middle-aged dad Lin Dawei raises his daughter Xiaotang alone. Just fired from his job, he’s suddenly bound to the “Fatherhood Upgrade System”—complete parenting quests to unlock cultivation powers! To help Xiaotang win a kindergarten craft contest, he uses the system’s “Spiritual Paper” to make a glowing paper boat, catching the eye of the cold preschool teacher Su Xiao. When his former company retaliates, he uses a “Negotiation Buff” to turn the tables. When Xiaotang is bullied by a classmate, he grits his teeth to learn a kids’ dance to cheer her up and uses magic to teach the bully’s unreasonable parents a lesson! Between the system’s ridiculous quests (like learning children’s songs and dancing K-pop) and Su Xiao’s hidden identity as a cultivator, Lin Dawei transforms from a deadbeat dad to his daughter’s “superhero.” Amidst the laughs lies a mystery about the system’s origin—and an unexpected romance with Su Xiao!
