Lin Xiaoman, an unnoticed office worker, suddenly receives a 'Crisis Compass' from her late grandfather, which is said to guide her away from fatal dangers accurately. When she avoids an elevator accident, she stumbles on her boss's corruption; when she escapes a pipe explosion, she meets her best friend who's been missing for half a year. But as the compass needle spins faster, Lin discovers her grandfather's death wasn't an accident—it was the compass's 'backlash': every避险 (danger avoidance) brings a deadlier crisis! She must break the curse within 7 days, or her next 'escape' will be her 'death warrant'...
