Single mom Su Wan has hidden her past as a top mercenary for a decade, working as a supermarket cashier to give her daughter Xiaotang a normal life. But when Xiaotang witnesses a rich businessman’s crime and gets kidnapped—with a bloodstained photo sent to Su Wan—the tactical knife in her closet’s deepest corner glints. The “Night Hawk,” once feared by Southeast Asia’s underground world, is back to reclaim her daughter’s light. One side is the gentle mom haggling at the wet market; the other is the tough warrior breaking into a gang den alone. When the school uniform overlaps with the bulletproof vest, her armor was never weapons—it’s the sound of Xiaotang calling “Mom.”
