Six years ago, Lin Zhiye was saved by Captain Cheng Chiyu at the cost of his own safety during a plane crash. Since then, she made “becoming an air traffic controller who could stand with him” her life’s goal. But when they reunite six years later, Cheng Chiyu is a stranger—cold as ice, never mentioning the life-saving grace. Just as Lin Zhiye thinks her love pursuit is doomed, a bizarre aviation failure case forces them to team up. During the investigation, Cheng Chiyu’s “coldness” unravels: he suffered PTSD from saving her and feared his trauma would drag her down. Lin’s relentless pursuit, however, becomes the key to reopening his heart. As they uncover the conspiracy behind the case, they also uncover each other’s “duplicity”. In the end, while guarding the sky, they find their shared “homecoming flight”.
