Su Wan, a special assistant at a shipping group, is tasked with retrieving Lu Shiyan, the heir who has drifted at sea for three years due to his best friend's death. She joins his fishing boat, watches the 4 AM waves with him, cleans his friend's old nautical log, and even clings to a life jacket during a storm, saying "I won't leave." When Lu finally sails into the hometown pier, he stops Su Wan from leaving: "Three years ago, I saved you on a deserted island, but you were the one who guided me home first—my ship has always only docked at your shore."
