Su Wan, a florist in the depths of an old alley, guards a yard of thorny black roses. She never sells flowers; she only "seals regrets"—infusing unsaid words into the stems. Until Lu Shiyan, a man in a sharp suit, bursts in with a withered black rose—it’s the relic of his missing girlfriend, and Su Wan’s name is carved on the stem. Su Wan tries to deny it, but the moment she touches the rose, she sees herself in the girlfriend’s memories: the same silver bracelet, the same smile, even a kiss with Lu Shiyan under the rose trellis. Strangely, whenever Lu Shiyan gets close, the rose tattoo on her neck burns.
