Lin Xiaoman, an ordinary antique shop owner, has a secret she’s hidden for 24 years—she can hear antiques talk. One day, the Song Dynasty porcelain vase in her shop, which always pretends to be a “silent old cadre,” suddenly cries and throws itself into her arms, saying its master’s soul is sealed in a late Qing copper lock that’s being chased by文物 traffickers disguised as collectors. To help the vase save its master, Xiaoman is forced to “take home” the sarcastic and傲娇 copper lock and live with it. She also accidentally catches Gu Shen, who claims to be a “cultural relic restorer,” “chatting” with her Tang Dynasty tri-colored horse—he can sense antique emotions too! What’s more, Gu Shen always exposes Xiaoman’s superpower and “happens” to show up when she’s in danger. As memory fragments from the copper lock surface, Xiaoman discovers her superpower is linked to her grandfather’s disappearance 10 years ago, and the jade ring in Gu Shen’s pocket—identical to her grandfather’s—quietly reveals his true identity…
