Lin Chuan, an ancient book restorer, has always hated "romantic advances"—until one day, a cold antique dealer, a cute programmer, and a sassy florist suddenly show up one after another, all claiming to "look for something his grandfather left behind". He rummages through his grandfather's old wooden box and only finds a tattered copy of *Hongyan Pu* (The Fair Lady Manual) with a marginal note: "They are not humans, but 'unfinished' souls who've waited a thousand years". It turns out these "fair ladies" are the spirits of antiques restored by his grandfather, trapped in the mortal world by obsession, and Lin Chuan's blood can help them "return to their original form". But just as he falls for Ah Ruan, the gentle florist, he discovers the last page of *Hongyan Pu* reads: "On the day all spirits return, the holder of the book will forget everything"...
