Lin Wan, a modern medical student, inherits her grandmother's old pharmacy and accidentally activates a bronze mirror that links her to Gu Zhao—the young owner of an ancient medical clinic who's framed for treason and had his clinic seized. To help Gu clear his name and solve her grandmother's mysterious disappearance, they strike a 'cross-time contract': Lin uses modern medicine to aid his case, while Gu shares ancient secret recipes to revive her pharmacy. To evade the mastermind's pursuit, Gu even poses as her 'contract husband' to hide in the modern world using her identity. As they dig deeper, they're shocked to find the two millennium-apart wrongful cases are controlled by the same mastermind—and her grandmother's disappearance is closely tied to the 'Imperial Medicine Treason Case' of Gu's family decades ago. When past and present clues converge, can they save each other and uncover the thousand-year-old conspiracy?
