Undercover agent Lin Chen has lurked beside mafia leader Hei Hu for three years to collect full evidence of his drug-trafficking syndicate. However, at the critical moment before closing the net, he receives a secret order to approach Su Wan—Hei Hu’s so-called “sister-in-law” who is actually his secret lover. Lin Chen falls into a dilemma: exposing his identity would ruin the three-year plan, while complying would cross moral and bottom-line boundaries. But during contact, he finds Su Wan is actually an informant from another force, and Hei Hu is planning a huge transnational crime deal. Lin Chen decides to outwit them, pretending to be Su Wan’s accomplice.
