Undercover agent Lin Chen has lurked beside mafia leader Hei Hu for three years to collect full evidence of his drug-trafficking syndicate. However, at the critical moment before closing the net, he receives a secret order to approach Su Wan—Hei Hu’s so-called “sister-in-law” who is actually his secret lover. Lin Chen falls into a dilemma: exposing his identity would ruin the three-year plan, while complying would cross moral and bottom-line boundaries. But during contact, he finds Su Wan is actually an informant from another force, and Hei Hu is planning a huge transnational crime deal. Lin Chen decides to outwit them, pretending to be Su Wan’s accomplice. He will navigate carefully around Hei Hu, avoid suspicion, and team up with Su Wan to wipe out Hei Hu’s entire criminal syndicate.
