Retired worker Zhang Weiguo just wants to lay low and enjoy his retirement, but his son, who just got into an ancient martial arts academy, labels him a "hidden emperor" and launches an absurd "filial piety plan": selling family heirlooms for cultivation manuals, forcing him to join an emperor competition, and even inviting a weird "immortal master" to give him "guidance". Stressed to the brink, Zhang accidentally unlocks his hidden supernatural abilities and gets caught up in a mysterious urban conflict. What follows is a hilarious and heartwarming adventure that gradually changes the father-son relationship in unexpected ways.
