When Lin Xiaoman, an overworked internet employee, collapses on a rooftop, she meets Chen Mo—a former piano prodigy who abandoned his dream after a car accident and now repairs old items. A mix-up of bags binds them: Xiaoman loses her work USB drive that determines her career fate, while Chen Mo loses the piano key left by his late mother. Forced to search together, Xiaoman accompanies Chen Mo to fix a phonograph in an old alley, and Chen Mo helps Xiaoman revise her proposal at a convenience store late at night. Along the way, they reveal their “unbroken parts”: Xiaoman misses the child who drew comics on her hometown balcony, and Chen Mo can’t forget the afternoon his mother taught him to play *Twinkle Twinkle Little Star*. But just then, Xiaoman faces layoff, and Chen Mo’s antique shop is about to be evicted. Can two broken people protect the last unbroken light in each other’s hearts?
