Lin Xiaoman, a down-and-out musician who just lost her job, takes a part-time job teaching "impromptu music basics" to make quick money. She teaches the untalented teen Gu Xinghe recklessly—calling wrong chords "avant-garde experiments" and inventing "emotional flow creation" when she forgets lyrics. To her shock, three months later, Gu Xinghe shows up with a gold medal from the National Youth Music Competition, saying, "Teacher, your method helped me find music's soul." Lin panics: she doesn't know how to teach at all! Worse, Gu's rich dad wants to open a studio for her, and competition judges chase her for "teaching secrets." Forced to pretend to be a "master" as the lie grows, Lin is caught in a bind—especially when Gu's gaze starts to feel like more than admiration.
