Lin Xiaoman runs "Xiaoman Pet Shop" in an old alley, spending her days feeding her orange cat "Baozi" and walking her corgi "Tudou". Her quiet life shatters when a boy in a moon-white robe bursts in, holding a faded Beast Tamer Manual and calling her the "36th Sect Master of the Beast Tamer Sect"—her "ordinary pets" are actually ancient beasts sealed by the sect for millennia! To make matters worse, evil cultivators are after the beasts' power. Now she has to hide Baozi's trash-rummaging habit (embarrassing for a "ferocious beast"), struggle to learn beast-taming skills, and keep her pet shop from becoming a "Beast Tamer Sect branch"—even Tudou is learning to dig sewers with "earth magic"!
