Lin Xiaoman, a socially anxious modern girl, travels back to 1985 and inhabits the body of a namesake girl known as the "neighborhood show-off" in a state-owned factory dorm complex. She crashes into a coal pile while chasing a runaway pig for Grandma Zhang, wraps Uncle Li's Forever bicycle in colorful lights, and even drags the stern "neighborhood enforcer" Director Wang to a disco.
