Physicist Lin Xia accidentally activates a time device and gets lost in temporal turbulence. She must jump between historical nodes to find her way back to modern times. In Ming Dynasty she meets a general who looks identical to her late husband, in 1920s Shanghai she gets involved in gang wars. Each era bears traces of her existence. When discovering all time jumps are connected to her husband's death, she faces an ultimate choice: stay in the past to rewrite tragedy, or return alone to a future without him.
