In 2026, extreme heatwaves and digital unemployment sweep across the globe. Delivery driver Lin Ye loses his only rented apartment and his beloved grandma, becoming a homeless wanderer. When he takes shelter in an abandoned subway station, he meets teen girl Ayou who is also hiding from city inspectors. The two initially wary youths soon learn they both once lived in an old community forcibly demolished by capital. Scavenging for survival in the city’s concrete cracks, they chase the rumored 'homeless shelter', only to uncover the brutal truth hidden behind the city’s glossy facade.
