Scrolling through her phone contacts, she found not a single relative or friend to turn to, and her once secure temporary rental was gone overnight. Just as she huddled on the street corner shivering from cold, an abandoned orange cat rubbed against her feet. The pair warmed each other in the frigid wind, found the courage to face their predicament together, and embarked on a journey to find their true home.
