Su Wan, a star map restorer at the planetarium, was saved from a fire three years ago by a boy calling himself "Xingchen (Star)," who left only a star-orbit pendant. She searched for "Brother Xingchen" in vain until she met Gu Heng, a returning astrophysics professor—same pendant, similar voice, making her sure he was the savior. But Gu Heng evaded questions about "Xingchen" and hid another pendant engraved with "Wanwan." During an observation event, she accidentally found Gu Heng had no fire scar on his neck—turns out the real "Xingchen" was his twin brother, who died in a work accident abroad. Gu Heng, guilt-ridden, took over his brother's promise to protect Su Wan. When the truth came out, holding the two pendants, she realized: "Xingchen" was never a person, but the light that never left.
