Heartbroken illustrator Su Wan moves to a fog-shrouded coastal town to heal, but keeps finding abandoned pearl necklaces during her morning runs. When she hangs the fifth necklace on her windowsill, an anonymous text warns: "They're watching you." On a stormy night, stiletto footsteps echo in the attic as the necklaces vanish. Through the mist emerges the ghostly face of her drowned best friend - who supposedly died three years ago. Obsessive eyes gleam in the shadows as the cafe owner who secretly loved Su Wan for years steps through her door, five dripping necklaces coiled around his throat like a noose...
