Chen Xiulan, a 50-year-old janitor at a high-end design firm, hides a secret—she was a top interior designer in the 1990s. She gave up her career to save her terminally ill husband and lived incognito for two decades. Now her daughter’s failed business has left them in a million-yuan debt. Desperate, Xiulan picks up her design pen again, only to face a transformed industry: young designers mock her as “outdated,” clients doubt her “understanding of youth trends,” and even her daughter finds her “embarrassing.” But when the firm takes on an old Western-style building restoration project—stumping everyone with its vintage craftsmanship—Xiulan, who’s been secretly studying old furniture while cleaning, solves it instantly… Can she turn 20 years of experience into a spectacular comeback? And can she make her daughter realize that her “peak” isn’t past glory, but the courage to start over for love?
