Wu Siyu gave up her investment bank offer to run "Wu's Corner Store" in the old alley, fulfilling her grandma's last wish. One late night, a man in a vintage shirt knocks on the shutter, asking for "1998 orange soda"—the "time code" her grandma used to mention. He pulls out a yellowed IOU: "Owe Xiao Wu a soda, owe her an answer." As more "nostalgic customers" come, Siyu discovers the store hides secrets of her grandma and the alley: every old item is tied to an unspoken regret, and her job is to help grandma close those "unfinished chapters."
