Lin Xiaoman, an insomniac publishing editor, stumbles into the never-closing "Midnight Phantom Shop" on a street corner at dawn. The owner, Gu Shen, wears a black qipao and holds a half-burned incense stick that never extinguishes—every antique in the shop hides a customer's obsession: a white-collar worker trying to win back her boyfriend, an elderly man searching for his childhood pet, and even Xiaoman herself, who longs to see her late mother again. But when she uncovers Gu Shen's secret, she learns this shop, forever trapped in midnight, is his 100-year "unfinished business" of waiting for someone. And her arrival is slowly cracking the door that has locked time for centuries...
