Wukong, supposed to embark on the Journey to the West for scriptures, accidentally discovers that the pilgrimage is a big trick by gods to control the Three Realms! Yang Jian and Nezha, his companions, also see through the hypocrisy of fate. Once renowned war gods in Heaven, the three refuse to be pawns. They tear off their orthodox masks, form a "Rebel Alliance", determined to shatter the old cycle controlled by gods, slay demons and gods blocking their way, and embark on a path of fate-rebellion and destiny-changing full of thrills and laughs.
