A Lie tells Xiaotang her past life was a Bodhi disciple who tied Sun Wukong’s Golden Hoop, and their fate is the key to fixing spacetime. With a "monkey-like boyfriend" crashing into her life and strange phenomena (Zhu Bajie’s rake in an antique shop, Sha Wujing’s glass lamp glowing in a museum), Xiaotang joins a "modern Journey to the West mission": retrieve scattered "spacetime relics" and untangle their past-life bond—only to find the mastermind is her future self, who triggered the collapse by trying to resurrect Journey to the West gods out of obsession.
