Su Xiaotang, a modern cultural relic restorer, accidentally awakens A Lie—a man from a Tang Dynasty Journey to the West painting. He’s a "Fate Starter" from 2077, sent to stop a spacetime collapse caused by "Journey to the West obsessions." A Lie tells Xiaotang her past life was a Bodhi disciple who tied Sun Wukong’s Golden Hoop, and their fate is the key to fixing spacetime. With a "monkey-like boyfriend" crashing into her life and strange phenomena (Zhu Bajie’s rake in an antique shop, Sha Wujing’s glass lamp glowing in a museum), Xiaotang joins a "modern Journey to the West mission": retrieve scattered "spacetime relics" and untangle their past-life bond—only to find the mastermind is her future self, who triggered the collapse by trying to resurrect Journey to the West gods out of obsession. They have 30 days to crack the "Fate Starter Code," or spacetime will be forever chaotic...
