Lin Mo, the youngest disciple of a reclusive martial arts sect, descends the mountain to fulfill a 10-year childhood engagement as his master instructed. However, on his very first day, he’s publicly rejected by the bride’s family, who sneer that he’s a "country bumpkin unworthy of a wealthy lady." Overcome with shame and anger, his zhenqi (inner energy) spirals out of control, leading him to accidentally break into the office of Su Wantang—the cold and glamorous CEO of a top conglomerate—who’s in a coma from a congenital cold syndrome that even doctors can’t resolve. In a panic, Lin reaches out to check her pulse: his pure yang zhenqi flows through his fingers into Su’s body, waking her up instantly! The first thing Su does when she regains consciousness is grab Lin’s hand and say, "Your zhenqi can cure my syndrome." Caught between avenging the humiliation of rejection, Su’s "forced retention," and the hidden villains targeting Su, Lin’s life off the mountain is turned upside down—but it also starts a奇妙 fate where the CEO "relies on him as a cure."
