There, she meets the wild-hearted teen Wangye guarding his ancestral stargazing campsite—they are childhood sweethearts separated by time. Xia Xing carries city-driven efficiency anxiety, while Wangye upholds his late grandfather’s promise. Under the midsummer starry sky, they fight against external capital pressure to rebuild the campsite, retrieve their buried childhood bond, and achieve mutual healing between urban modernity and rural warmth.
