When the sickly princess of Great Rong is sent to marry the new khan of Mobei, he humiliates her, claiming the bell on her waist is too noisy and forcing her to pluck its tassel. The princess endures the humiliation and complies—little does she know the bell hides a secret imperial edict between the two nations. The thirty thousand cavalry hiding nearby hear the commotion, expose the khan’s treason, and reveal the princess as the legitimate marriage partner. With cavalry surrounding the camp, the princess drops her sickly facade, exudes full authority, and overturns the entire Mobei khan tent, staging a stunning counterattack.
