Su Xiaoman, the most overworked minor immortal in the Immortal Realm, has been working 996 non-stop all year to earn 'Immortal Status Points'. After 300 consecutive overtime days, she finally snaps—she throws her official documents and descends to Earth, vowing to be a wildling! But just as she sets up her tree-hole home in the barren wilderness, she runs into Xuan Ye, an ancient god who's been hiding here for a millennium to escape the Immortal Realm's power struggles. Xuan Ye is amused by Xiaoman's 'workplace slacking tricks', while Xiaoman is healed by Xuan Ye's 'lie flat and watch clouds' lifestyle. Just as they start to fall for each other, the Immortal Realm's 'Return Order' arrives—will she go back to the predictable immortal life, or stay in the wild forest with him?
