Li Erniu, a village orphan, was nicknamed 'the fool' by everyone after a childhood fever left him with cognitive impairments—even his childhood sweetheart Su Xiaorou drifted away because of his 'foolishness'. One day, he stumbles into an old locust tree cave behind the village and binds to the 'Immortal Counterattack System'—complete quirky tasks like delivering a sow’s piglets or 'picking clouds' for the village beauty to unlock immortal cultivation skills! Thus begins Erniu’s 'foolish immortal journey': he uses flight to help Grandpa Wang chase a runaway chicken, uses water condensation to save drought-stricken fields, but accidentally blows the village chief’s straw hat into the sky... As he grows stronger, he discovers an ancient demon vein under the village—and learns he’s the 'reincarnated spirit child' tasked with guarding it! When those who once mocked him beg for help, and Su Xiaorou notices this 'different fool' again, can Erniu, with the system’s help, humorously rise to power, protect the village, and win back his love?
