Lin Yun, an ordinary disciple of Wudang Sect who has been studying for ten years, leads a plain life of cleaning and practicing martial arts. He only wants an easy life, but accidentally finds a half-page ciphertext remnant scroll when organizing the scripture pavilion, which attracts the pursuit of both orthodox and evil sects. Forced to flee with the scroll, he meets Su Qingyao, a mysterious woman disguised as a female vendor. They suspect and entangle with each other on the way, but gradually fall in love during the escape. As clues of the scroll emerge, they find a hidden past of Wudang 20 years ago, and Su's true identity is the key to uncovering the past. A rivers and lakes struggle about truth and friendship kicks off.
