Loser college student Lin Xiaochuan accidentally binds to a "Favorability Reset System": any shred of好感 from campus belle Su Wanqing triggers absurd punishments—losing hair, stepping on banana peels, or drinking milk tea full of artificial sweetener. But Su, who mistook him for a hero in a misunderstanding, keeps clinging to him to "repay kindness," sending her favorability skyrocketing. To avoid punishment, Lin tries every trick to make her hate him: wearing tattered socks to feign poverty (she buys him new ones), saying "you’re annoying" (she thinks he’s tsundere), deliberately breaking her cup (she laughs and says "I wanted a new one anyway"). The more he pushes her away, the closer they get—will this reverse chase end in love, or more chaotic punishments?
