Exchange your "most precious possession" for a wish. The mysterious owner, Gu Ye, offers a deal: trade all memories of her late father for her mother’s recovery. Xiaoman agrees without hesitation. But as her mother heals, she gradually forgets her father’s face, the nights they shared instant noodles in their tiny rental, and even how to say "dad"完整. She then realizes the pawnshop’s "price" isn’t a one-time take—it’s like termites eating wood, quietly eroding the warmth you cherish most. Worse still, Gu Ye is a "former customer" trapped for a century, his price being—never being able to love anyone truly. Xiaoman wants to retrieve her memories and help Gu Ye break the cycle, but the faded character "邪" (evil) on the shop wall has long written all resistance into its rules.
