Lin Wan, a gardener who closed herself off after losing her sister, lingers in the barren garden left by her late sister—until Gu Shen, a sharp-tongued yet gentle architect, arrives to restore his late mother’s old house. Insistent on reviving the garden, they clash over its fate, then bond over tilling soil, sowing seeds, and waiting for the first bloom. Gu Shen’s “pushy care” pries open Lin Wan’s wounds hidden behind her pruning shears, while he rediscovers the meaning of “home” in the garden. When roses climb the old wall, two hearts once emptied by loss finally grow back their capacity to love—slowly, in each other’s warmth.
