Lin Xiao, a young office worker drained and burdened by her patriarchal family that only demands her money, is on the brink of breaking down when an orange stray cat moves into her small rental and acts as her "boss". Together, she and the cat find an abandoned stray dog in the corridor and accidentally start a journey of rescuing small animals.
