Lin Xiaoman, a socially anxious copywriter at an ad agency, hides in corners like an "invisible person" even during presentations—until she picks up an alpaca that can "read minds." It turns out to be Gu Xingye, an astronomer transformed into an animal by star power while observing a meteor, and only Xiaoman can hear his voice.
