Perfectionist photographer Lin Xiaoyue's life is turned upside down when she's forced to cohabitate with free-spirited barista Zhou Qing. Like the full moon she obsessively photographs, Lin demands flawlessness, while Zhou embraces life's imperfections like the moon's natural phases. Their clashing lifestyles spark unexpected chemistry, until Zhou mysteriously disappears during a lunar eclipse. Lin discovers Zhou suffers from a rare light-sensitive condition, realizing the missing piece in her photographs - and her heart - has been there all along in Zhou's crescent-moon smile.
