Air traffic controller Lin Xing and amateur astronomer Chen Ye made a silent promise to stargaze under the meteor shower together after meeting by the airport control tower every night. As the promise nears, the tower launches a new control system, forcing Lin to work a 24-hour shift and miss the date. Chen shows up with his equipment, and through the glass barrier, they fulfill the special promise—one sticking to their jobs, the other to his love for astronomy—using Lin’s walkie-talkie.
