Lin Xiaoman, a night-time archivist at the planetarium, has repeated the same wish to the North Star every night for three years: to see her missing photographer boyfriend A Chuan again. Until Chen Mo, a silent repairman, appears—he carries A Chuan’s exclusive lens cap and hides a cruel secret: A Chuan entrusted him to fulfill his "last wish" on his deathbed, but the price is that Lin Xiaoman must erase all memories of A Chuan with her own hands. When A Chuan’s figure finally appears in the telescope, Lin Xiaoman has to make a life-or-death choice between "seeing him one last time" and "living with the memories."
