Lin Xiaoman, a restorer at the planetarium, stumbles upon an old star chart with brushstrokes identical to those of Gu Xingye—an aerospace engineer who vanished a decade ago. Back then, they’d crouched on a rooftop to watch the “Reunion Nebula” and promised to wait for its return. One day, a man wearing a silver star-orbit bracelet (Xiaoman’s old gift to Xingye) enters the planetarium to donate a star chart. When she trembles and asks, “Who are you?”, he pulls out a yellowed photo. On the back, it reads: “Nebulas never miss a reunion. I finally made it back before it returns… to find you.”
