Ordinary office worker Lin Ye just wanted to spend his days in peaceful muddling, but he kept encountering all sorts of ghosts on his way home from work — a drowned water ghost, a wronged female worker, a lost child spirit. They all rushed over crying and called him "God". Trying to stay out of trouble, he was forced into a series of unsolved supernatural cold cases, and could only escape temporarily after helping the ghosts settle their obsessions. Gradually, he discovered he could actually perceive grievances and resolve them, so he began to reluctantly act as a "temporary god" for the ghosts while trying his best to avoid trouble, creating many funny and eerily hilarious gags.
