Young embroiderer Su Wan takes over her family's century-old embroidery workshop, only to find the studio plagued by strange occurrences: the peony patterns she stitches grow sharp thorns at midnight, and her late grandmother's old embroidery frame spins on its own when unoccupied. Digging into the workshop's hidden history, she uncovers the vengeful spirit of a wrongfully deceased embroiderer from a century ago, who hid her evidence of injustice in a lost embroidery pattern. To save her family's legacy and survive the haunting, Su Wan must help the spirit clear her name and unravel the needle curse plaguing the chamber.
