Lin Yuan, the 300-year-old ancestor of a reclusive cultivation clan, suddenly realizes all his descendants are “chosen ones” favored by heaven: his eldest grandson was born with a phoenix omen, his second grandson found an ancient divine artifact by chance, and his great-granddaughter is called the “destined savior of the world”. But trouble comes: his youngest great-grandson Lin Xiaotang sneaks down the mountain, saying he wants to “be an ordinary person without luck”; worse, evil cultivators from the域外 (outer realm) smell the “luck concentration” of the clan and plan to capture the descendants to refine a “luck-stealing pill”. To protect his family, Lin Yuan disguises himself as an ordinary old man and goes down the mountain to “accompany” Xiaotang, secretly dealing with evil cultivators while battling wits with Xiaotang—he must make this stubborn kid understand: luck is never a chain, but a “lucky key” to protect the people he cares about.
