Lin Xiaoman runs her late mother's old bookstore and has received anonymous holly branches every snowfall for three years. On this year's first snow night, photographer Chen Mo bursts into the store with a water-damaged camera, accidentally breaking her closed heart—he not only recognizes her mother's old scarf but also has a photo of his younger self with her mother in his camera. It turns out Chen Mo is the son of her mother's missed lover, and the holly branches were his father's dying wish. As snow falls harder, the regrets of two generations unfold. Xiaoman finally understands: what she's waited for is never snow, but someone brave enough to walk through the snow to her.
